update on symptoms

I thought my eyes were getting better, but I was out in the bright sunlight when I noticed a few black dots in my line of vision in my left eye. Back to the eye doctor. I don't know if this is iritis, because there is no light sensitivity as usual. I do know that I have to find out. More when I know.

time off is good

I took a day off. I felt better for doing so, but I was swamped again when I came back to work. I can already feel the stress creeping in on my body. I did manage to go for a run today, which was good. I'm very slow, but the fact that I can do it at all is still amazing to me. My "pink spots" are healing and now they've turned into bruises. My eyes are still in question, so after this weekend, I will make an appointment with the eye doctor unless I'm absolutely sure they are unaffected. Lots of sleep is still in my forecast. Sounds exciting doesn't it? It's much better than the alternative. Hopefully, the joint swelling that I've noticed within the last few days will subside. I think that those are a delayed symptom of my flare-up. The "pink spots" usually come first, and if I'm lucky, it'll stop there. I don't think it did this time. My fingers, wrists and ankles are all stiff and bothering me. My ankles are more swollen than sore - otherwise no running. Again, the key is to figure out what will help and what will hurt and just do it - regardless of what you actually feel like doing.
